Maggie Reilly
The great voice of the 80s.
Often referred to as "the Celtic voice of Scotland", Maggie Reilly broke through in the 80s, providing the voice for Mike Oldfield classics like "Moonlight Shadow", "Family Man", "Foreign Affair" and "To France".
In addition to these immortal hits, you can also look forward to hearing the best songs from her solo career, with the singles from her 1992 solo album Echoes, "Everytime We Touch", "Tears in the Rain" and "Wait" being among the most successful.
Maggie Reilly has covered a lot of musical ground. From the jazz/funk of Cado Belle, performances with Karl-Heinz Stockhausen, her collaborations with Prog rocker Mike Oldfield, duets with Jack Bruce (Cream) and Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd) through early 90s Europop and her thought-provoking solo albums from last decade.
After topping the charts with Mike Oldfield, Maggie Reilly embarked on a successful solo career.
With her first album 'Echoes' from 1991, on which she wrote the massive worldwide hit 'Everytime we Touch' and European hits like 'Wait' and 'Tears in the Rain', she immediately gained recognition as a great artist and songwriter.
It was followed by the critically and commercially acclaimed projects 'Follow The Midnight Sun', 'Elena', 'Starcrossed' and the Scandinavian chart toppers 'Waiting For A Rainy Day' and 'Looking Back, Moving Forward'.
